After graduating from university, he began his career in digital advertising at Conversant (now eBay) in London (UK).
In 2009, he moved his activities to the Asia Pacific (APAC) region and focused on establishing the APAC headquarters of several ad technology companies, including “MediaMath”.
In 2015, he transitioned from ad tech to the agency side, taking on key roles within WPP and IPG Group companies. He worked with clients across various industries, including Coca-Cola, P&G, Dyson, Amazon, Dell, Spotify, and BMW. Since 2018, he has served as Managing Director of Xaxis Japan, the digital activation division of WPP Group, based in Tokyo.
Three years later, in 2021, he returned to IPG Group as CEO of IPG Mediabrands’ “Kinesso APAC”, leading growth in 11 markets, including Japan, with over 1,000 digital experts in digital media, marketing automation, advanced analytics, commerce, and AI.
On April 2024, he became the CEO of IPG Mediabrands Japan, officially relocating his base from Singapore to Tokyo. This transition marked his commitment to leading IPG Mediabrands Japan in its next phase of growth.
After graduating from university, he joined a major Japanese advertising company and began his career in the Finance Division. He was later involved in transforming the management accounting system and subsequently moved to the Business and Operations Division, where he managed budget and forecast planning for the company’s total revenue, client strategies, and sales strategy. He also played a key role in driving the group’s revenue expansion project and was instrumental in negotiating fees with overseas clients.
He then returned to the Finance Division, where he led the FP&A team for the entire company. After transitioning to the parent company’s Group Finance Division, he led the Consolidation team, overseeing the consolidation of 150 entities and managing the preparation of quarterly financial statements and disclosure documents.
Since 2014, he has been part of the group’s Strategic Business Unit, spearheading more than 20 acquisitions and investments, primarily in Europe and North America. He led the unit’s consolidated quarterly closing, budgeting, forecasting, and business management, contributing to the group’s global expansion. Simultaneously, he served as a Global Finance Senior Director, supporting the finance functions of overseas subsidiaries, including those in Asia.
In November 2024, he was appointed CFO of IPG Mediabrands Japan. Leveraging his extensive experience, he brings a fresh perspective to driving the growth of Mediabrands Japan’s business.
After graduating from university, he joined a major Japanese advertising firm where he played a key role for many years across various functions, including media buying for TV and other platforms, media planning, and serving as the account lead for global marketing, sports marketing, and luxury brand campaigns.
He then joined an ad-tech company specializing in AI deep learning solutions. This transition from the agency side to an ad-tech company provided him with extensive experience in the digital domain.
Two years later, in 2022, he joined Reprise Japan (now Kinesso) as Managing Director. In January 2023, he also became Managing Director of Matterkind Japan (now Kinesso). By April of the same year, he assumed the position of Representative Director of Kinesso Japan, a digital marketing agency uniting Reprise, Matterkind, and the former Kinesso.
In January 2024, he took on the additional role of Managing Director for IPG Mediabrands’ UM and MAGNA, and as of this year, as CCO where he is responsible for driving the continued growth of IPG Mediabrands Japan.
